1. What is Vanuatu CIIP?

The CIIP combines a non-refundable contribution with a capital component held for five years in a government-controlled structure supporting agricultural and infrastructure development. On successful completion of the holding period, US$50,000 is returnable to the applicant, subject to programme terms.

The Government of Vanuatu decides all citizenship applications and sets all programme fees. Vanuatu Advance acts as a Government Designated Agent.

US$50,000 of the CIIP figure is a returnable capital component subject to programme terms and successful completion of the five-year holding period. It is not a guaranteed refund, guaranteed investment return, profit or interest.

4. CIIP family pricing

The US$165,000 figure is flat for a single applicant through to a family of four. Each qualifying dependant beyond four is US$25,000.

5. Who qualifies?

The same criteria as DSP apply: clean criminal record, lawful source of funds and satisfactory due diligence. There is no residency requirement and no interview requirement. See eligibility and who can apply.

6. Dependent children and parents

Dependent children up to age 25 and dependent parents aged 50 or over may be included, subject to proof of dependency.

US$5,500 per application, not per person, covering Financial Intelligence Unit screening and international background checks.
